What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living.

God

We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will one day return in glory.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. No one can earn salvation through good works. Every person must repent of sin and place their trust in Christ to receive forgiveness and eternal life.

Humanity

We believe every person is created in the image of God and possesses inherent dignity and worth. Because of sin, all people are separated from God and stand in need of His saving grace.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, brings people to faith in Christ, indwells every believer, empowers holy living, and equips the Church for ministry.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and love one another in truth and grace.

Marriage, Sexuality, and Gender

We believe God lovingly designed marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. We believe He created humanity as male and female, each reflecting His good design. Every person, regardless of their story or struggles, is loved by God and welcomed to hear the gospel. Like every area of life, our sexuality and identity are to be joyfully surrendered to the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Our Ministry Commitment

We are committed to speaking the truth in love, while also demonstrating grace.  We reject both condemnation and compromise. Our desire is to walk with people in truth, compassion, humility, and hope as they pursue Christ. Transformation is the work of God through the gospel, the Holy Spirit, and faithful discipleship—not human effort.

Our Purpose

Everything we do is for one purpose: that Jesus Christ would be known, honored, and glorified, and that lost sheep would come home to the Good Shepherd.

Our Mission

Operation 100th Sheep exists to educate, equip, and encourage the Body of Christ to love well those who are lost, hurting, and searching for hope, so that the name of Jesus Christ is made famous.

We are committed to proclaiming the truth of God's Word with both conviction and compassion. Our desire is to walk alongside individuals, families, churches, and ministry leaders as they discover the transforming power of the gospel and the freedom found in following Jesus Christ.

Like the Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to pursue the one lost sheep (Luke 15), we believe every person has immeasurable value and is worthy of hearing the life-changing message of Jesus. We seek to love people where they are while faithfully pointing them to the One who alone can save, restore, and transform lives.
